Posnic Innovations Private Limited is a retail technology company incorporated in 2016 in Tamil Nadu, India. We build Posnic, a complete point-of-sale platform for retail stores and restaurants, and Posnic Cloud, the managed sync and backup service that connects branches, devices and dashboards for growing businesses.
Today Posnic processes billing in shops across multiple countries, from single-counter kirana stores to multi-branch chains, in segments including supermarkets, textiles, restaurants, electronics and hardware. In 2026 we released the entire application as open source under AGPL-3.0, making Posnic one of the few full-featured POS platforms that any business can adopt with zero licence cost.
