Receipt Fields
| Field or switch | What it controls | Use when |
|---|---|---|
| Header Content | Text printed near the top of the receipt. | Shop greeting, legal identity, GST note or approved message. |
| Footer Content | Text printed at the bottom. | Return policy, thank-you note or support contact. |
| Print Logo | Whether the shop logo prints. | The logo is uploaded and prints clearly on the selected printer. |
| Print Customer | Whether customer details print. | The sale is attached to a real customer and privacy policy allows it. |
| Receipt Barcode | Whether a barcode prints for receipt lookup or reference. | Staff use scanned receipt references for returns or lookup. |
| Print Brand URL | Whether the brand/site URL prints. | The URL is customer-facing and useful. |
| Print Sale Notes | Whether sale notes appear on the receipt. | Notes are customer-safe and approved for printed output. |
Logo, Customer and Barcode
The optional switches should reflect the shop's real process. More receipt content is not automatically better; every printed field should help a customer, cashier or accountant.
- Turn on Print Logo only after the logo is uploaded and readable in black-and-white receipt output.
- Turn on Print Customer when account receipts should show customer name or details.
- Turn on Receipt Barcode when staff scan receipts for lookup, return or service handling.
- Turn on Brand URL only when the URL is live and customer-safe.
- Turn on Print Sale Notes only when cashiers understand that notes can become customer-facing.
Receipt Approval Checklist

| Customer privacy | Customer details print only when needed. | Owner. |
| Barcode use | Printed receipt barcode has an operational purpose. | Cashier lead. |
| Sale notes | Notes are safe for customers to read. | Cashier lead or manager. |
Troubleshooting Content
- If logo is missing, check the branch logo/upload setup and Print Logo switch.
- If customer details are missing, attach a customer to the sale and turn on Print Customer.
- If sale notes should stay internal, leave Print Sale Notes off.
- If barcode does not print, check Receipt Barcode and the print template after saving settings.
- If the preview looks right but paper output is wrong, retest printer and paper size on that till.
